On behalf of the Armed Forces Academy of Gen. M.R. Štefánik, the rector, col. Gst. Ing. Aurel Sabó, PhD., thanked the American Civil Affairs Team 3215 for their cooperation with the Department of Social Sciences and Languages during their stay in Slovakia from May 2023 to February 2024. 

During this period, members of the team, namely MAJ. John McLaughlin, SSG. Kevin Delwiche, SGT. Cory Sagataw and SGT. Derek Crabbe presented their practical experience to all 2^nd and 3^rd year cadets (BOŠ, VSIS, EZS, ZSZČ) and the freshmen 1^st-year cadets BOŠ and VSIS. In addition to the lectures, the cadets had the opportunity to participate in individual conversation sessions provided by the CAT team during their time off. Moreover, the teaching staff of the department cooperates with the team on the development of authentic materials that will be available to all employees of the armed forces. More than 50 pages of teaching text (vocabulary, listening, reading comprehension) have already been created from 15 sources (audio, video) and other sources are being processed. 

We look forward to our continued cooperation with the new team, which will be led by Captain Austin Sky-Kappler.
