On September 5^th, the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the USA in the Slovak Republic, Mr. Guatam RANU, visited the premises of the Armed Forces Academy of general Milan Rastislav Stefanik (Academy), accompanied by the military and aviation attaché of the USA accredited in the Slovak Republic, LTC Jonathan J. ST. PETER.

Rector of Academy, Assoc. Prof. Jozef PUTTERA, together with the main representatives of the Academy, welcomed the guests in the premises of the academic library.  They were introduced to the Academy, its history, structure, study programs of higher education, quality assurance system and career education. During the discussion, the guests were interested in the system of accepting cadets for university studies and the military cadet program. Another topic of discussion was the development and support of language education organized by the Department of Social Sciences and Languages.

At the end of the visit, the Certified Training Organization for Air Traffic Controllers was presented to the guests in the premises of the Simulation Center of the Academy.
