Within cadet military program on 9th – 10th May, first-year cadets participated in the exercises at several workplaces. At the first one, they practiced the topic from engineering training - lit by fire.
The main topic of the second workplace - RCHBO was the initial decontamination of people, material and equipment. The exercise at this workplace was aimed at practicing decontamination and treatment of equipment parts and people.
At the third workplace, called connecting preparation, the cadets were familiarized with the parameters of connecting means introduced in the Slovak Armed Forces and practiced the proper control of the operation of the radio connection.
The last duty station involved a medical training exercise led by SGT Dawid Zak – a Polish lecturer who works at the Police Academy in Szczytno in Poland and his stay at AFA was part of the ERASMUS+ program. He explained first aid for bleeding and its temporary stopping to cadets in English. Consequently, they did also practical exercise.
