On October 30th, 2023, an international scientific conference focused on current problems of military logistics took place at the Department of Logistical Support of Armed Forces Academy of GEN. M.R. Stefanik. Its goal was to provide space to representatives of the academic community as well as experts from practice to discuss the theoretical and practical problems of military logistics in the conditions of the armed forces.
Professional soldiers from the Ministry of Defense of the Slovak Republic and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic, as well as foreign participants from the Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary took place at the conference.
The main topics of the conference were:
current state, problems and trends in military logistics.
economic and security determinants conditioning the development of military logistics
education and professional training of logistic skills (specializations) as a primary factor in the quality and ability of military logistics.
requirements for economic knowledge of members of military logistics
impact of globalization on the system of military logistics within NATO member countries.
