The Department of Logistics is a scientific-pedagogical workplace of the Academy for education and scientific-research activities in the areas of logistics services and logistical support, management in the military, defense economics and the economy of the armed forces. In the field of education, the department provides teaching in all university study programs accredited by the Armed Forces Academy in full-time, external and lifelong education.

The department primarily participates in higher education in the study program " National Security and Defence " of the study field "Defense and Military", in the first stage of bachelor's studies, the second stage of master's studies and the third stage of doctoral studies.

The Department of Logistics is responsible for training and education in the L10 expertise in the specializations: logistics management specialist, staff specialist of military units, units and general logistics facilities, supply material specialist, equipment material specialist, construction and accommodation material specialist. It participates in the training of specialists in the specialization 950 – specialist in financial and economic services, and in the military specialization U10 – military management and training.
